Max Volley Tournaments Summer 2025


REGISTRATION:


Before registering, please review all tournament details.

Important Info:

  • Team captains must create a profile on MyTeam.Click.
  • To add team members, only the player's name and email address are required.
  • Adding all team members helps with accurate seeding.
  • Only registered team members can enter scores in the mobile app.

Deadline: 

Last Day to Register - Wednesday before each tournament. 

Late registrations may be accepted if space allows, with a $10 late fee.

Weekend 1:

  • May 31: Men’s 2s, Women’s 2s, Coed 2s, Youth Girls 2s 16U, Youth Girls 2s 14U, Youth Boys 15U

Weekend 2:

  • June 21: Men’s 2s, Women’s 2s, Coed 4s
  • June 22: Coed 2s, Men’s 4s, Women’s 4s

Weekend 3:

  • July 19: Coed 2s, Men’s 4s, Women’s 4s
  • July 20: Men’s 2s, Women’s 2s, Coed 4s

Weekend 4:

  • August 9: Men’s 2s, Women’s 2s, Coed 4s, Youth Girls 2s 16U, Youth Girls 2s 14U, Youth Boys 16U
  • August 10: Coed 2s, Men’s 4s, Women’s 4s, Youth Girls 17U, Youth Girls 15U, Youth Boys 17U

Weekend 5:

  • August 23: Men’s 2s, Women’s 2s (Day 1), Coed 2s (Saturday)
  • August 24: Men’s 2s, Women’s 2s (Day 2), Coed 4s, Men’s 4s, Women’s 4s (Sunday)

LOCATION:

Shefford Courts:
813 Shefford Rd, Gloucester, ON (Behind the Richcraft Sensplex)



DJ:

Expect a DJ at every event, blasting beats all day long!



TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE:

  • Start Time: 9:00 AM
  • End Time: Usually 3:00 - 4:00 PM (subject to change due to weather)

An info email will be sent the day before each tournament.


Schedule:

  • 8:30 AM - 9:00 AM: Warm-Up
  • 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Round Robin
  • 12:00/1:00 PM: Playoffs
  • 3:00/4:00 PM: Finals

Note: Schedule subject to change.

Two-Day Tournaments:
 Round Robin on Saturday, Playoffs on Sunday.



TOURNAMENT FORMAT:

Round Robin:

  • Pools of 3 or 4 teams. Each team plays all teams in their pool.
  • Matches: Best 2 out of 3 (21, 21, 15)
  • With 5 teams, a single pool of 5 teams, each plays one set against every other team.

Playoffs:

  • Single Elimination.
  • Teams eliminated in the first round will continue playing for 3rd, 5th, 9th, etc.
  • Matches: Best 2 out of 3 (21, 21, 15)

MYTEAM.CLICK:

All tournament registration, scheduling, score entry, and stats will be handled via the MyTeam.Click app.
Download the app from the App Store or Google Play by searching for "MyTeam.Click."

WATER:

Free bottled water available while supplies last, plus a hose with potable water for refills.



COST:

  • $80 per 2s team
  • $140 per 4s team
  • $140 - Two-Day Tournament

Payment Options:

  • Pay directly on MyTeam.Click
  • E-transfer the fee to maxvolleytournaments@gmail.com
    Include your team name and division in the message, and ensure your team is "under construction" on MyTeam.Click. Once payment is received, your team will be added to the list.


REFUNDS:

  • Withdrawals: Teams can withdraw through MyTeam.Click, but must also email the reason for withdrawal.
    A $5 handling fee may apply.

  • Refund Deadline - Tuesday before any tournament

  • Cancellations: Full refunds if a tournament is cancelled due to extreme circumstances.



PRIZES:

Elite 2s Division (Men’s, Women’s, Coed):

  • 1st: $240
  • 2nd: $160
  • 3rd: $80*

Elite 2s Division (Two-Day Tournament):

  • 1st: $500
  • 2nd: $300
  • 3rd: $200*

*3rd place prize only provided with sufficient registrations.

Other divisions: Winners receive Max Volley merch or other prizes like gift cards and coupons.


RULES:

  • General Max Volley Rules Apply – View detailed rules here.
  • Coed Rules: Men must hit behind the 3m line and cannot block women.
  • Timeouts: One timeout per set. Technical timeout (when both teams’ total score is 21) must be taken if requested.
  • Penalties: Teams that are late for matches will be penalized.


REFEREES:

There are no official referees. Players must call their own faults (net touches, hand setting errors, etc.). If disagreements arise, re-serve the point. For further assistance, see Max Volley staff.
Eliminated teams may be asked to scorekeep or referee for remaining matches.



GAME BALLS:

Players must bring their own game balls. Max Volley will sell balls at the start of the season while supplies last. Check with staff or the website for details.



FACILITIES:

  • Restrooms: Porta potties available.
  • Water: Potable water for drinking and washing.
  • Shade: Limited under white tents. Players should bring their own tents or umbrellas for extra cover.
  • Courts: 38 courts available. Court numbers are posted at each court. View court map here.


WEATHER POLICY:

Tournaments are rain or shine. Games will be delayed in case of thunderstorms, but will only be cancelled in extreme weather.
